Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms were spotlessly clean and had a fresh, modern bathroom. The decor was lovely, but I have to admit the sofa bed was quite uncomfortable. The service was top-notch, with a few exceptions with a rude member of the waiting staff. The location, set in the old Manor House, was charming, especially for visiting the York Christmas markets. The dining experience offered stunning views and fresh fruits, but the breakfast was a help-yourself basis with items on hotplates. The facilities were well-maintained, and the staff made sure everything was in order.
I was quite impressed with the hotel's new bathrooms, although the room atmosphere felt a bit somber for my liking. The twin beds were comfortable, and being able to open the window to cool down was a plus. However, the service was a mixed bag with some outstanding staff members but also a rude encounter with a member of the waiting staff. The location, especially the restaurant area, was lovely, but the atmosphere in the Elements restaurant could be hit or miss. The dining experience offered fresh fruits and stunning views, but it was mostly a help-yourself setup. Overall, the hotel had its highs and lows, making it a decent stay.
The hotel offers a charming blend of luxury and convenience, with beautifully decorated rooms featuring jacuzzis and twin beds where our wedding breakfast took place. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff ensuring a memorable experience, although one rude member stood out. The location in the old Manor House was delightful, yet being away from the golf course required a short drive. Dining provided a delightful experience with an impressive selection and stunning views. The facilities were top-notch, offering everything needed for a relaxing stay.
